Ray Lamontagne – Friday 13th Feb

The North East welcomes Ray LaMontagne this coming Friday at The Sage Gateshead. This is hte first visit to the region by one of the ‘founders’ of pop-alt folk music. His music has featured in many television shows and movies and his three albums – Trouble, Till the Sun Turns Black & Gossip in the Grain.

Esser – Feb 9th – University of Sussex

One time drummer in Ladyfuzz, Ben Esser has spead his wings and embraced electropop as a frontman. Following on from the single Headlock comes Work It Out – which is available on his myspace page now and is released on the 23rd Febuary 2009. Esser is going to be in Brighton on Monday 9th Feb and Sheffield on the 19th Feb.
