With an increasing number of singer/songwriters breaking out over the last few years, it feels like the market is somewhat overcrowded. It takes someone special to stand out in a crowd of similar sounding artists. If last night’s gig is anything to go by, it seems Mads Langer is the proverbial diamond in the rough.

The BFI London Film Festival is less than a day away and the film screenings keep getting bigger and better. Today’s line up has been a choice selection proving that the festival has much more up its sleeves but where some have proved to be hits one that might leave a bitter taste.

The BBC Music Festival in Norwich from the 19th September – 1st October. Already the festival has seen world class music videos that have shown the almost forgotten art-form of music videos is very much alive and well. We are really lucky to have managed to get some time with Yuval Nathan who talks about their process, the video, and how they got into music video making.

The title of ‘The Gay Gospels’ does a good job of summarising author Keith Sharpe’s argument: namely, that the Bible – far from being homophobic – is in fact an implicit affirmation of homosexuality, and may even be read to imply that Jesus himself engaged in gay relations.

We are really lucky to be able to bring you another amazing interview with one of the music video directors who are taking part in this years festival. Celyn Brazier video for Wagon Christ “Chunkothy” is both visually stunning and inspiring. It is clear that she has a style that is only going to get bigger, bolder and better. This is a stunning video to watch and I can’t wait to see just what she is able to produce next.
