Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Hooded Fang are an interesting band to observe. They have seemingly managed to conceive a new genre, creating a mix of Lo-Fi Garage rock and Surfer pop. Although on paper that sounds like a categorically dire match, it seems to work for this group and they have created an original sound unlike anything else on the scene at the moment.

Complex plays are not easy to sit down and watch and they can be, at times, layered so thick that you can become lost within the labyrinth style story and by the end your left feeling neither love nor hate for the play but an overwhelming sense of confusion.

When are the ‘protesters’ going to realise that the court case that they brought on themselves against the City of London was suposed to be a wake up call. It seems that even in the face of strong public opposition and a media backlash that has seen support from most of their most favourable media outlets dwindle to the point of invisibility they a resolute to bang their own drum.
