Edinburgh Fringe Preview: Strip Theatre, Principal Parts

Principal Parts is the Strip Theatre Company’s new production, and is headed for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. ‘Part comedy, part tragedy, part musical’, it is set amongst the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, 1914, an act that would trigger the 1st World War.

Principal Parts explores the lives of those responsible: the Black Hand Gang.

This untold story behind the most fatal of actions, should it follow the high standard that Strip Theatre has itself with A Perfect Corpse and Self Portrait, cannot be missed. Edinburgh should be prepared for something explosive – Molotov cocktails aside.

Yet again the bar has been set extremely high with productions like this further proof as to why the Edinburgh Fringe is the worlds biggest and best arts festival. The production will have three London preview, one 3rd July at Baron’s Court Theatre and two at the Network in Waterloo on 15th & 16th July.
