Following a sell-out debut in 2010, student a cappella group All the King’s Men will return to the Edinburgh Fringe this year with their show ‘Putting it Together Again’. Hailing from King’s College London (hence the name), these boys perform vocal renditions of a diverse range of songs – from golden oldies to modern pop hits – combining them with choreography and tongue-in-cheek humour.
They’re fairly new on the (admittedly quite small but diverse) a cappella scene, but All the King’s Men have quickly been making a name for themselves. Following their highly successful Fringe debut, they have achieved international acclaim, most notably through their tour of East Coast USA and winning act at the Voice Festival’s student a cappella competition, for which they were awarded ‘Best Performance’.
If we are to draw from their critics, you can’t help but be impressed. ‘Strikingly flawless entertainment’, said Roar Newspaper; ‘Fantastically fun’, wrote BroadwayBaby. One excited reviewer even declared herself a ‘new woman’ after their performance, sounds pretty special indeed.

If you don’t trust the superlatives though, you can check out All the King’s Men for yourself on their website: www.all-the-kings-men.com (you can always trust an organisation with their own domain name). There, you can find their press release for the Edinburgh Fringe, complete with exemplary performances of Coldplay’s Yellow, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and Aerosmith’s Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing.
If you Don’t Wanna Miss them (ha), you should probably buy a ticket on the Fringe’s website HERE. Tickets are £8 (£6 with concessions), and the show runs between 15th and 27th August (excluding 22nd). It’s a 45 minute performance, and starts at 15:10 each day.
So, if you feel like it, go and see All the King’s Men – Putting it Together Again.’
