This is just one of almost 20 student films from all over the world that are part of this years ÉCU Film Festival and highly recommend you take a long hard look at the 70 films showcasing at the festival next month.

ÉCU European Independent Film Festival takes place from 1st-3rd April in Paris and you can find out more information HERE.

What drew you to this project?

Well first it is a nice script and the character of eve was a challenging role which I thought I could give an authentic twist, since we share common feelings on the aspect of being an artist and having the opportunity of expressing your feelings through your art.

When did you start acting, has this always been something you have wanted to do?

I started acting at a early age. I went to a private school were we would have a big play every year. Back then I already love the rehearsals and the interactions with people on the stage and the audience. So I figured this is something I would love to do in the future.

How do you come to a role, is it an easy or difficult process?

It is hard to say since it is always a feeling process for me as an artist. I mean to me in general life is an art, and art is life.

Tell us a little bit about your character in A Damn Killer?

Is an actor who is not a success because of his skin color. Since the acting is his absolute passion he can not life that because of his exterior, he sees no point to live anymore.

Is it exciting having your film be part of ECU, are you guys coming this year?

Of cause it is exciting to have this type of exposure as a young group of upcoming artist and since I never been to Paris before I definitely plan to come this year. .

What advice would you give other actors tackling projects like yours?

Passion and persistence is a key…never, never, never give up !
