As am sure people are all too aware of what has gone on with John Galliono and his recent firing form the House of dior over comments he is alleged to have made during a recent visit to a Parisian Cafe. What has to be made clear here are two things the first is that the French Police have stated that there is no 3rd party witnesses so the case is a ‘he said they said’. And second the video that has emerged seems a little off as to why people would be sat with someone saying the things that he says.

It is an interesting that the social and personal breakdown that the high and mighty in the creative world face very publicly only really hits a nerve when they use the J-word. Unlike other racial insults or abuses anything anti-Semitic seems to draw universal condemnation and it would appear from the start of this whole saga people where willing to accept that Galliano was guilty.
The Video – Fact or Fake?
But with very little evidence of the initial complaint and with the police almost making it clear that they themselves are faced with a difficult case of ‘he said, they said’ someone seemed to have leaked the initial arrest to the police. The video that has emerged on Youtube and is making the rounds of all the blogs, when was the video made and why has it taken so long to come to light?
It seems that the House of Dior and others might have tried to distance themselves too soon from all this without waiting for the verdict and it also appears that someone only has to be accused of being anti-Semitic for them to be seen as guilty. Perhaps Dior and Oscar Winner Natalie Portman should wait for the police investigation to be over before making up their minds. But at least Galliano has some support:
“IN PRAISE OF JOHN GALLIANO
Beauty, intelligence and energy would describe John as I know him.
Where in this trilogy could one find hate?
I ask you!
My second question is…What exactly did he say?
And the third is…
What is really going on here??”
