Everybody wants to be a cat. Because a cats the only cat who knows where it’s at. Perhaps this is the reason why Pooh the seagull believes he’s genuinely a little tomcat. He sleeps in cat baskets, eats cat food out of cat bowls and even mingles with the furry felines.
How bizarre?

It all started when the seagull fell down the chimney and landed in the fireplace of the Grimwood’s family home in Shoreham-by-Sea. He was only a baby gull at the time so after cleaning the ash off him, they he had decided to nurse him and take him under their wing.
That’s when they named him Pooh.
They let him mingle with their other family pets, Mitzi, Gus and Henry the cats. To make life simple, they fed all animals the same food and taught them to get along with each other. In no time at all Pooh knew where the cat biscuits were stored and would regularly have a cat snack. Each year Pooh does fly away but returns for a good six months. During this time he comes in for three meals a day with the other cats.
Mrs Grimwood said:
“I think he does believe that he is actually a cat. I wouldn’t say he’s mixed up. He’s just very clever.”
