Chase & Status UK Tour and Single Release

Chase & Status UK Tour and Single Release

Chase & Status release single “End Credits”, taken from the forthcoming film Harry Brown starring Michael Caine, on 2nd November. “End Credits”, featuring Plan B, who also stars in the film, is their first single on Vertigo Records and follows their recent head-turning festival performances and their forthcoming debut live tour.

Kicking off on the 24th September, their first ever live tour sees Will and Saul playing over 30 shows, performing to over 1,000 people each night. Currently working on their second album, the follow up to ‘More Than A Lot’, Chase & Status will release the first fruits of their labours early 2010.

Chase & Status released their debut album ‘More Than A Lot’ on the independent label RAM last year, selling 60,000 copies and quickly amassing legions of fans. Whether it is Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, or Dubstep, the duo’s versatility has enabled them to become leaders within the most cutting edge genres. In the past 12 months their production work includes some highly-praised remix work for Jay Z and The Prodigy’s recent comeback, collaborations with Snoop Dogg and more recently, Will and Saul have been working with Rihanna on tracks for her forthcoming album out later this
year.

Chase & Status’ first live show came in the form of an incendiary performance at Radio 1′s Big Weekend earlier this year. This paved the way for major summer festival slots at the likes of Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Bestival, Global Gathering and Creamfields, as well as a recent show with N.E.R.D.

The guys say of their tour, “We’ve had a great few years DJ-ing all over the globe and we’ve loved every minute of it, but now we’re ready to go LIVE. MC Rage will be hosting the show and we’ll have some exciting guest vocalists. Can’t wait.”
