Double Six Records are proud to announce the release of Worm’s Head, the debut single from Joker’s Daughter, on 1st June 2009. The track is taken from the debut album, The Last Laugh, released through Double Six Records a week later on 15th June.
Joker’s Daughter is the collaboration of vocalist, songwriter and
multi-instrumentalist Helena Costas with respected artist and producer,
Danger Mouse.
Combining Helena’s beautifully sweet vocals with swells of string
orchestration, Worm’s Head is the entrancing album opener, paving the
way for a haunting, infectious and playful record. B-side tracks
Bouncing Liquorish Bears and Slayer are fascinating and curious
theatrical treats.
